Deacon Days Are Here Again

Our man Adam was ordained as a deacon (deaconized?) a few weeks back. The journalistic juggernaut that is the Catholic Advance has all the details, including this photo:

The Rev. Mr. Adam Keiter receives the Book of the Gospels at his ordination Friday evening.
You know, I bet Adam already had one of those, but not one that nice.

Congratulations, Adam. I am so happy that you have found your path in life.....we will pray that next year we will be celebrating your ordination to the priesthood.

An anonymous inspiration:

Use the banquet room at Tommy's (owned by '97 parent) for a Saturday night dinner together: we don't have to worry about getting a caterer or cleaning up afterward. Is someone interested in taking this in charge (Jill, perhaps?)

How big is the banquet room? It would be true that we wouldn't have to worry about a caterer or clean up if we had it had a hotel or other restaurant as well.

Hey, the Tommy's banquet room holds about 60 people. I can organize this if Millie or Dan don't want to. I'd have to ask my dad what he'll need to charge per person, or if you want a sit down, or appetizer deal. I'm afraid I don't check this site often, but you can email me if you need to- docmoore222@hotmail.com
